9th in the World in Chengdu, China, at UCI Urban Cycling World Champs

After two weeks in Moscow on a filming project, Andrei travelling to Chengdu in China for the Urban Cycling World Championships. Andrei had a great first two laps hanging onto a shot at the finals in 6th place, but then was just pushed out by only a few points by former World Champion Giacamo Coustellier and Spanish Champion Sergi Llongueras. It was a great competition and considering the other commitments Andrei has taken on in 2017 he was very happy with yet another top ten world result. The new rules are radically different to the previous rules and it was a great test for all riders. Not only that, but the new location of China where it will now be held for 3 years was fantastic. Andrei is already looking forward to heading back to China in 2018.
